Great people and nice, clean facility. I have had a couple of unpleasant experiences, but everything was taken care of. Extremely happy to be in a program that works. Having groups with people coming from the same struggles and being able to relate and speak freely about anything. Everyone is very respectful towards one another and I'm happy to be apart of this.
Dr. Shahab is wonderful. I have seen many other professionals and have chosen to stick with her. She always listens to what I have to say and makes me feel very comfortable there. The medication I am on now is helping tremendously and she slowly worked with me to try and find the best dosage that worked for me, in my life. The staff has always been nice and helped me out when I needed it. If you're looking for a doctor who is just pushing medications and looks at you as another paying person, find someone else. If you are looking for someone who truly cares about your long term well-being...this is definitely the place to go!
They recently replaced the old APRN with a man named William. I am not an addict so I can’t speak to his experience with that sort of treatment, but I can say after moving to CT and seeing the old APRN, I got assigned to William, who is the most rude, incompetent, unprofessional and obnoxious health provider I’ve ever encountered in my life. He raises his voice, doesn’t let you finish sentences, is condescending and ignorant. I have no idea how he got his license or his job. For somebody suffering with severe PTSD, I found my visit with him traumatizing. It was like going to speak to an annoyed DMV employee who thinks he’s God. He needs some of his own therapy before working with any more patients and the office needs to hire competent employees.
Avoid Ellington behavioral health , pland ace is a joke , they mix up urine tests , they dont believe you because of your addiction, and they also forget to call in your scripts and lie about it.very unprofessional they have one Dr for who knows how many patients, its was a complete waste of time , i can honestly say im dumber for listening to any of the staff especially charlie im surprised the guy doesnt drool on himself!!
Staff is very unprofessional and rude. I recommend not going here.
